Inside this issue we showcase our mammoth Irish Beauty Show review in pictures. As you’ll see, everyone had a great time and I’m delighted to announce that we had over 12,000 beauty professionals visit over the two days – making it the most well attended beauty show ever held in Ireland!

Thank you so much for supporting this annual event; it takes a full year of hard work from the events’ team and so I know they’ll want me to pass on their thanks to all exhibitors and visitors who made it such a success. The dates for next year’s show
have been announced as Sunday 8th and Monday 9th March 2015 – so make a note in your diary now!
As well as our show review, this issue we take a two-pronged approach to skin care, focussing on how coloured light therapy can assist in healing problem skin as well as rejuvenating ageing complexions. Plus, we look at developments in plant stem cells and how they are being utilised in skin care in synergy with the latest scientific research.
We also look at this season’s salon wear trends that take inspiration from the fashion capitals’ runways, and to bring the sense of Summer into your salon we showcase the latest nail colour collections and also handy travel sizes of your favourite products, perfect for retailing as clients head off to sunnier climes.
Plus there’s lots more including our regular news and product round- ups, expert discussions and we speak to CND’s Samantha Sweet about her career highlights and personal passions.
