28 ACR Awards
Environmental Initiative of the Year
PERSY WAS the
Environmental winner this year and PERSY’s creators at A-Gas rose to the occasion. Roger Smith, production manager (refrigerants) at A-Gas said: “Winning this award is a justification of the hard work put in by the team at A-Gas who were involved with the development of PERSY.
“It helps demonstrate the need for a large, portable recovery system, especially for larger industrial type installations.” PERSY is a project that Mr Smith is proud of on a personal as well as professional level. “The award is a recognition of all our efforts in its development, which started as just an idea that I had.”
The judges thought that this was a unique and great idea. Its portability and user friendliness makes PERSY more than just a product – it’s a tool that takes refrigerant recovery to a whole new level.
