Measuring System The LabMaster Universal Model 1000A, Pratt & Whit- ney Measurement Systems’ largest capacity and most automated measuring sys- tem, has a 40" (1-m) direct reading range and 80" (2-m) capacity. Probe movement

and table movements are computer controlled. A simple soft- ware script allows automatic measurement of gages or custom parts for ultimate accuracy and ease of use. Pratt & Whitney Measurement Systems Ph: 800-371-7174 Web site: www.prattandwhitney.com

ERP and MES Software

Rapid Response Manufacturing (RRM) is a fully-integrated ERP and manufacturing execution system (MES) software solution for small to mid-sized discrete manufacturers and job shops with a major focus on the aerospace, defense and medical fields. It is also well-suited to a wide array of other industries. With its fully integrated ERP, MES and quality man- agement, RRM strives

to help reduce cost, increase profit and improve the overall business process. The software offers complete order-to-bill management capabilities and can be configured to meet specific needs.

Waterjet Pump

The Quantum ESP 52 Single pump is available on all Techni waterjet cutting systems and can support any waterjet cutting machine available today. With a maximum out-pressure of 52,000 psi (360 MPa) and a maximum output volume of 0.5 gpm (1.9 L/min) the ESP 52 incorporates a servomo- tor directly enveloping a high-load precision ballscrew. The ballscrew directly houses the ceramic plungers, which recip- rocate back and forth to create the pumping action, in much the same way as a hydraulic cylinder works on an intensifier

Deburring Tools Burr-Rx deburring tools are capable of deburring at feed rates in excess of 100 ipm (2540 mm/ min), providing a high level of throughput. In addition, they eliminate

manual deburring processes which are a major source of muscular-skeletal disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome. Ad- ditionally, they improve part-to-part consistency by eliminating tedious manual deburring. Weiler Corp.

Shop Floor CMMs The 7.10.7 SF series of shop-floor CMMs is specially designed to excel in harsh industrial environments. The 7.10.7 SF’s computer, control- ler, and interface boxes are housed in one self-contained unit for easy transport on the shop floor. The CMM has a measuring stroke of 710 × 1010 × 680 mm, and uses

standard 110/220V single-phase outlets with no need for shop air. The integrated and flexible part fixture system enables users to locate up to four 300 × 300-mm fixture plates or one

pump. The infinite control of the servo motor and precision of the ballscrew enable ac- curate control over the output pressure and volume of the water displaced, and elimi- nates pressure spikes when deadheading. This infinite control gives an operator the ability to program virtually any

pressure and flow rate from zero to full capacity, while only using the power displaced at the cutting head. Techni Waterjet Ph: 913-492-3700
