WORLD TITLES ON THE LINE IN 2015
In 2015, the ITU World Triathlon Series will return to Chicago for the Grand Final and Age-Group World Championships. The 2015 event will mark the first time the U.S. has hosted the World Championships in a decade. The race will consist of approximately 5,000 amateur athletes, who qualify to represent their respective countries, descending upon Chicago. In addition to sprint-and Olympic-distance age-group competition, other World Championships will include the following divisions: paratriathlon, junior, under-23 and aquathlon.
Each country has its own qualification standards. To learn more about Team USA, visit
www.usatriathlon.org/teamusa.
GET FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO WATCH
More than 75,000 spectators are expected to witness the excitement and drama of age group and professional triathlon in Chicago in one of the world’s most scenic and iconic venues.
Admission is free to the public for all races during the weekend, including the pro competition, so this is a great opportunity to introduce friends and family to the sport you love.
