COMPACT CPU MODULE

The compact S-DIAS I/O generation from SIGMATEK has been expanded with a matching CPU in mini-format - the CP 111. Measuring 12.5mm width, 103.5mm height and 72mm depth, it has high intelligence and is packed with efficiency. Features include a 800MHz EDGE2 Technology processor with low loss, as well as an exchangeable Micro SD card, zero voltage safe RAM, 256Mb DDR3 internal memory, real time clock, a USB device, an Ethernet and two VARAN bus interfaces. The PS 101 power supply module expands the high performance DIN-rail CPU with a buffer battery, USB host and a CAN bus interface. The CP 111 is well suited for single

or multi-CPU concepts and therefore can be used as a flexible system solution with simple and complex high speed applications. The real time Ethernet system VARAN with a bus speed of 100Mbit/s serves as the communication medium. Individual I/O modules can be accessed within 1.12µs. In addition to the fast data exchange, the new I/O generation provides the highest package density with up to 20 channels per module, mechanical stability and vibration resistance, as well as toolless mounting and comfortable handling.
