The software can be used throughout the world, and country codes on license plates are recognized with more than 90% accuracy. Weak or suboptimal lighting do not affect operation. Norbar launches new electronic torque wrench
for high-speed,
high volume applications that require many small, precise fluid deposits.
To meet the demands of industry for quality control and production traceability, Norbar has designed an electronic torque wrench that is capable of measuring, displaying, storing and transmitting torque and angle target results and receiving configuration settings from TDS (Torque Data System) computer software via a USB or wireless interface. The new electronic torque wrench will provide operators with a complete data management and archiving system. Two way data management capabilities also mean that multiple targets can be sequenced and linked as well as tool settings configured at PC.

Murrelektronik's buffer modules provide stability in power supply systems. MB Cap Ultra buffers the power that is supplied to the system to prevent voltage fluctuations that may cause a breakdown. They ensure that machines and systems continue to operate smoothly. Now, Murrelektronik has enhanced the MB Cap Ultra series with a new, more efficient buffer module. The new component, called MB Cap Ultra 40/24 3.6s, buffers a load current of 40A at a nominal current of 24V DC for a time of 3.6 seconds. New acoustic emission sensor for condition monitoring and preventative maintenance
T
he new Type 8152C Piezotron® sensor is ideal for monitoring acoustic emissions (AE) above 50 kHz on the surface of metal machines, structures and systems for preventative maintenance of rotating machines, monitoring cutting tools and press tools to detect signs of incipient failure and leakage monitoring of tanks, pipes and valves. The rugged welded housing, wide operating temperature range from -54°C to 165°C and IP65 rating make the new sensor suitable for use in the most challenging industrial environments. ATEX Zone 0 and Zone 2 intrinsically safe versions are available for use in hazardous areas. Two frequency ranges, 50 to 400 kHz and 100 to 900 kHz, are offered in all versions. An integrated impedance converter provides a low impedance voltage output signal and a custom designed coupler supplies power to the sensor and provides signal processing. The AE Sensor is simply mounted with an M6 or ¼ inch screw or a magnetic clamp onto the surface of the structure. The sensing element is acoustically isolated from the housing by design and is well protected against external noise and is ground isolated to prevent ground loops. Kistler AE sensors feature a very high sensitivity for surface (Rayleigh) and longitudinal waves over a broad frequency range and are designed to withstand high energy waves.

monitoring system for rotary kilns
aytek introduces a new generation of CS210 system for non-contact temperature measurement and monitoring of rotary kiln shells. The modular system now integrates up to four infrared line scanners for monitoring long and difficult-to-access kilns. Additionally, point sensors cover shadow areas, for instance behind tyres. Designed for rotary kilns exclusively, the software compiles all data to a complete thermal image. The upgrade also enables a real-time display of a 3D thermal image of the kiln surface, making refractory monitoring especially user-friendly. Damaged and fallen bricks are quickly located, enabling users to initiate repair and avoid expensive production stops. The system provides a one-brick resolution and sends failsafe hotspot alarms. A Refractory Management database helps determine when best to replace the refractory. All oven-related and operational data, information about the refractory material, and maintenance dates can be easily managed and documented with a user history. A separate sensor monitoring the burning zone can also be integrated and managed via the software.
