EXHIBITION PREVIEW PRODUCTS A WIDE PRODUCT RANGE ON SHOW
At MACH 2014 igus (stand 4539) will demonstrate and showcase the latest additions to its drylin W hybrid systems and standard PRTs. Additionally, readychains will be displayed within the readychain rack ‘light’ system. Also on show will be chainflex CF270 cables, plus the CFRIP cable stripping solution. The drylin W linear guide
system with integrated rollers is typically used for machine door sliding applications. The robust, dirt resistant iglidur PRT slewing ring bearings, available in
aluminium or stainless steel, can be complemented with stainless steel head rings for a long service life and reliability. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the readychains displayed within the readychain rack ‘light’ (pictured), which is half the size of its original readychain rack, and so is well suited for smaller applications. Thanks to the modular system of telescopic supports and braces, the igus readychain rack ‘light’ can be pre-assembled with readychains, and delivered and fitted to the machine within days. This fast turnaround reduces process costs by up to 80% during prototyping and up to 50% over the complete assembly process. The chainflex CF270 cables on
show include a hybrid servo cable with integrated RS-485 standard, and a shielded spindle core for machine tool manufacture.

Moore International are expecting a busy week at the MACH Exhibition in April. In addition to being the UK distributor for ballscrew and leadscrew manufacturers, Eichenberger Gewinde, and being a distributor for linear technology specialists, Schneeberger, Moore International has also teamed-up with Precision Technology Group to supply its range of electro-mechanical actuators. The association with Precision Technology Group is a well suited for Moore,
who will be involved in the manufacture of the US designed actuators in the UK. Ballscrews can carry heavier loads than leadscrews, and the presence of ball bearings within the nut enables the screw to move with maximum precision and minimum internal friction. They’re available in a wide variety of sizes and pitches and are used in applications ranging from aircraft landing gear to printing machines. The Moore International team will also be exhibiting their range of
profiled linear guideways from Schneeberger. At MACH you’ll see the Miniscale system, a combined guiding and measuring system used in applications including microscope tables and semiconductor equipment. Its optical measuring system is extremely small, thereby facilitating particularly compact and light designs.
