USA Shooting Biannual National Sporting Clay Cup Event Description:
In partnership with Houston’s American Shooting Centers and Fayez Sarofi m & Co., the USA Shooting Team is hosting the fi rst National Sporting Clay Cup, July 11-12, 2014. With Rio in Sight, USA Shooting is establishing a biannual fundraiser using the very popular shotgun discipline of sporting clays as the draw to lure shooting sport enthusiasts to support the USA Shooting Team as they head toward the 2014 World Championships and the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Event Format
July 10 – Major Benefactor Dinner, recognizing our major supporters. USA Shooting Team athletes and other professional shooters will attend.
July 11 – Major Benefactor Shoot (50 four-person teams, 100 clays). Early afternoon start, with dinner, awards, Calcutta and auction in the evening.
July 12 – Main event (200 four-person teams, 75 clays). Two rotations, morning and afternoon starts. Lunch will be provided, with shoot-off s and awards to take place in the evening.
High overall team and individual will have names inscribed on a beautiful trophy that will reside at the USA Shooting complex in Colorado Springs.
Participation Levels
Platinum Benefactor - $50,000 Includes invitations to Major Benefactors Dinner, three teams for both events, program recognition, recognition at both shoots and fi rst choice in selecting our athletes and professional shooters for their teams.
Gold Benefactor - $25,000 Includes invitations to Major Benefactors Dinner, three teams for both events, program
recognition, recognition at both shoots and preference in choice of our athletes and professional shooters for their teams.
Silver Benefactor – $15,000 Includes invitations to Major Benefactors Dinner, two teams for both events, program
recognition, recognition at both shoots and preference in choice of our athletes and professional shooters for their teams.
Bronze Benefactor – $7,500 Includes one team for both events and program recognition.
Benefactor - $4,000 Includes one team for Main Event and program recognition.
