The customer is key


In just a relatively short amount of time, AIT has become the insurance provider of choice for many within the beauty arena. What does Dave feel sets the company apart from its competitors? “The quality of the product, package and price coupled with exceptional customer service and genuine knowledge and belief in the market,” he responds. “Our ethos is based on belief, innovation, quality, reliability and consistency.”


From the very beginning, a vital element of the company has been to ensure that clients always remain at the very heart and forefront of the business. “The customer is always right,” says Dave. “This might be ‘old hat’ but without our clients recommending us, being impressed and believing in us, we are nothing. We aim to give the market what they need, and wherever possible, give them what they want as well.”


Marketing and promotion has also become an important part of the company’s strategy, which are both essential for gaining visibility and maintaining longevity. “A great product is nothing unless you tell everyone about it across all media channels,” explains Dave. “We work closely with Melissa Dennis (Irish Beauty’s Editor), utilising her expertise. She is a genius and always makes our brand, me personally and our

products look the best they can be which is a very rare quality when dealing with personalities involved in B2B marketing / advertising.”


Looking back to those early days, did Dave ever imagine the success AIT would achieve? “Yes, I always had faith,” he responds. “My business partner, Gary Hackett, pushed us to enter the market aggressively and we haven’t looked back since.


“The brand has become a huge success and that is all thanks to the hard work and dedication of every single member of the AIT team.”
