New Sinergy literature provides fast-track to sub-metering success Energy sub-metering delivers hard facts to businesses needing to pinpoint power usage in order to cut bills and carbon emissions. Sub-metering – by floor, department, circuit, even individual machine – is an established and non-invasive method of providing detailed power usage profiles. Marshall-Tufflex is a specialist in this market, offering
portable, fixed and bespoke solutions through its Sinergy brand, which has saved customers hundreds of thousands of pounds (recently a manufacturer client recouped £65,000 in overpaid electricity charges thanks to Sinergy identifying a billing error). It has produced new literature outlining how Sinergy
works.

HellermannTyton focuses on connectivity solutions Cable management specialist HellermannTyton is focusing on its growing capability to offer connectivity solutions that complement its wider range of products for the electrical wholesale and contracting sectors. Leading the initiative is Steve Slater, who has become product manager for connectivity and cable installation solutions. He will be responsible for developing the company’s growing range of connectivity consumables. Already available are ranges of light-duty insulated terminals, HCT and HCBS series copper tube terminals and splices, pre-insulated end sleeve terminals, HelaCon Plus and Luxe push-in wire connectors, and PE and PP terminals strip. All are available with the supporting tooling. Slater commented:
‘We are looking at this from the point of view
of the wholesaler who wants to be able to use a single supplier for all aspects of cable management. From the stockist’s point of view, it means a much simpler supply chain, with reduced order processing and stock handling. For the customer, it offers the reassurance of a wider range of the products they need for installation from a single brand that they trust.’
