Wray says: ‘It was a fantastic competition to win and the publicity really helped in terms of increasing our brand awareness.’ The company also won the British Chamber of
Commerce Most Promising New Business Award and Innovation Through Technology Award for the region of Wales.

Smarta Technologies recently completed a project in a property at Old St Mellon’s, Cardiff , that required it to carry out a complete rewire of the building, and install audio and HD TV in almost every room. All the wiring – electrical, data and audio – was fed back to a central
point from where it can be controlled via a Control4 system. One remote control can operate all the TVs around the house, as well as audio and lighting. In addition to standard LED spotlights, numerous decorative lights were
installed, such as the chandeliers above the hallway, and low-level LEDs in bathrooms. A shower unit with multi-coloured LEDs shining upwards also off ers a unique and eye-catching feature.
