More traditional methods of learning are being replaced with modern devices and learning is now designed for a new generation of student. Students nowadays have been brought up with new and innovative technology around them, it has become second nature. They are used to readily available, 24/7 access to information anywhere; therefore, they expect it to be implemented into their educational environment and to heighten their learning experiences. 1:1 learning has been around for a


while; however it has only recently become immensely popular. In our opinion it is definitely here to stay, especially as it is now more affordable and readily available. The ‘anywhere, anytime’ atitude is helping education establishments to engage the digital generation. By having and utilising 1:1 learning, you provide students with independence, flexibility and control; as well as a more modern and appealing way of studying. Students who have their own laptops or computers have been found to take greater pride in their work and have more motivation. However, implementing this system into the learning environment can come with a few challenges. It is imperative that devices are


charged, updated and ready to go, whether they are the student's own personal device or one they are loaning from the school/college/university. It is also vital that they are kept somewhere safe and secure. LapSafe Products has over ten years’
