Le Sueur Incorporated (LSI), a diversified foundry, in the town of Le Sueur, Minnesota has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tooling/Project Engineer in our Permanent Mold Division.
LSI is a very successful, privately-owned business that has been operating since 1946. We are an aluminum foundry with strong capabilities in Permanent Mold, Sand Mold and Die Casting. Lean Manufacturing. We specialize in complex, pressure tight applications and offer complete machining, finishing and assembly.
Responsibilities include providing engineering leadership for current and new projects involv- ing the Permanent Mold, Core Room and Machining departments. This individual is key to establishing engineering and product design standards for manufacturability and acts as the liaison between the customer, manufacturing, quality and the tool shops to resolve drawing and/ or tooling questions.
In addition, we are known for: • Low Pressure, Conventional Gravity and Semi Permanent Molding. • Core manufacturing consists of Isocure and shell processes. • Heat Treatment is provided by 3 bottom drop quick quench ovens. • Complete metallurgical and NDT laboratories. • Registered Management System ISO 9001:2008 • CAD Systems: Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks • Magma casting simulation software • Complete secondary processes capabilities • Prototyping • Aluminum alloys including 319, 355 and 356 • Machining
Our preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of engineering experience in Permanent Molding.

This position reports directly to the Foundry Manager and will be responsible for assisting in overseeing daily operations of the foundry.
