This week, Nintendo is up to its usual tricks with a slightly too true-to-life Mario commerical, there’s an eerie tour of THQ’s former headquarters and Watch Dogs is given the Bollywood treatment
OH LORD, WON’T YOU BUY ME A MERCEDES BENZ
It’s been an interesting couple of weeks for Nintendo. First, we had that Nintendo Direct for Tomodachi Life. Next up, a robotic Reggie Fils-Aime revealed the platform holder’s E3 plans whilst destroying a fellow employee with laser vision. And now, we have this monstrosity. Yes, that is Mario behind the wheel of the new Mercedes GLA. And if the Mario Kart 8 DLC cross-over wasn’t odd enough, a trailer for the new Merc even features the moustached hero himself in all his live-action glory. Heck, there’s even a live- action death scene at the hands of a goomba. It’s delightful. But wrong. Just so very, very wrong.
