ECA News The future of E&T needs you!
Those ECA members who use LinkedIn and similar may well have seen that some of the leading professionals in our industry refer to their positions on ECA committees at the very top of their CVs. ECA standing committee membership gives individuals the opportunity to network with other members and key stakeholders, to keep up with the very latest developments in the sector and, above all, to infl uence the direction of the ECA and our industry. The ECA Education
and Training standing committee is now looking for two more committee members to strengthen ECA’s representation in this crucially important area. We are keen to hear from ECA members who have a
demonstrable interest in the future of skills in our industry, and who want to help us to shape the education and skills agenda in the electrotechnical and building sectors. The commitment is three days a year, usually in London, and travel expenses are, of course, covered. Occasionally, members will be asked to review executive summaries between meetings. We would very much like
to hear from interested and capable members, who will be selected by the E&T Committee Chairman and Director of Business Services after the deadline, which is the end of January 2014.
