of marketing and development for Girls Leadership, Organized Women (GLOW), an all-volunteer Boston nonprofit that aims to empower and educate women leaders of all ages. She helped organize its third annual Ignite the Night fundraiser, held at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter in March. Drawing more than 300 guests, the event raised $50,000 to fund scholar- ships for 10 high-school girls from at-risk communities who submitted action plans to change the role of women in their city or school. The finalists also received tablet computers and the opportunity to take part in a GLOW leadership development program. In 2012 Gabrielle Moshier took a posi- tion as adventure specialist and teacher on a mule-driven wagon train in the Ari - zona desert with a company called Vision - Quest. It offers an alternative to jail for adjudicated adolescents and provides hik- ing, canoeing, and horseback riding across the country. She recently accepted an offer to serve as principal of its New Directions School in Philadelphia, PA. In addition, Gabrielle is in charge of a VisionQuest residential program where youth can learn vocational skills and complete their GED or high school diplo- ma. Gabrielle is so happy to have finally found a career she is passionate about. NYC artist Andrea Bergart recently completed her second mural on a cement truck, a project funded by the Queens Council on the Arts.
