Support Services, part of the Axis Group, has appointed a new Senior Business Development Manager. Julian Kelly joins Axis Cleaning and Support Services as Senior Business Development Manager covering London and the South, bringing with him over 25 years

of knowledge and experience within the cleaning and support services industry. Julian’s career started in the aviation industry and moved into Facilities Management in 2000. He also has direct experience with Axis, having worked for LPM Cleaning and Support Services as a Business Development Manager, before it was re-launched and rebranded as Axis Cleaning and Support Services. “The success of the re-brand was one the key reasons that I was attracted back to the company,” explains Julian. The company has nurtured a reputation as a dynamic and sophisticated solutions provider, but with the re-launch of the business comes ambitious plans to expand its client base and become an industry leader. Coming back to a business that continues to grow and develop is exciting, and the welcome I have received from the strong managerial team has assured me of the strength of the re-launched company and the wider Axis Group.” Julian’s appointment follows that of Stuart Buswell as Managing Director. He shares Stuart’s aims to strengthen the business’ sales strategy and growth ambitions. His role has so far involved preparing responses to tenders, managing Axis’ presence at the recent British Council of Shopping Centre (BCSC) exhibition and compiling a development strategy that focuses on retail, shopping centres, healthcare and Professional Services. Julian will be based out of the Kings Cross office and will report to Stuart Buswell. He will also be working closely with the business development team at Axis Security to promote and deliver tailored solutions that combine both security and cleaning services. In strengthening their Business Development team, Stuart is confident that Julian will bring the required knowledge and expertise to further grow the company. “Julian’s wealth of experience means he understands the cleaning and facilities management industry inside and out,” says Stuart. “His appointment puts us in an ideal position to develop the business in our areas of focus.” www.axis-css.co.uk
