Hall 11/H57 Moretto of Italy will show its OW6 automatic control system for centralised material conveying, new Kasko receivers, and the latest version of its Eureka energy saving drying system for PET processing. Other materials preparation and handling technologies on display from the company include the Moretto X-Dry Air mini-dryers. www.moretto.com

Hall 10/J54 Irish blender manufacturer TSM Controls will launch its ‘Next Generation” blending equipment at the show. According to the company, the system allows real-time measurement of all blend components while a new control algorithm improves performance at lower setpoints. Combined with the company’s reverse auger technology, this is said to result in improved repeat- ability and reduced overdos- ing, which lowers material usage and cost. www.tsm-controls.com

Hall 11/B60 Meech International will show its latest static control products for injection moulding applications – the 971IPS and 929IPS. The new products are claimed to provide highly efficient ionisation for applications such as static management or IML label placement. Both of the new units operate from a 24V supply making them straightforward to integrate. www.meech.com

Beck Automation shows high speed IML system

Hall 10/G77 Swiss IML systems specialist Beck Automation will demon- strate a high speed production system for oval 500ml contain- ers assembled in partnership with Swiss mouldmaker Glaroform and featuring full

production data capture. The system is part of the IML Competence partnership between Beck and Glaroform, as well as Swiss cooling technology company EF Cooling, production monitoring specialist BFA, and Italian

label producer Viappiani. The Glaroform 2-cavity

mould incorporates conformal cooling technology to allow the 11g 0.4mm wall thickness containers to be produced on a sub-3s cycle. Each part is decorated with a 60 micron orange peel PP label with electrostatics used to ensure precise placement is achieved every time. BFA’s production monitor-

ing system captures machine data from the injection machine’s Euromap 63 interface and combines it with that from the automation equipment to provide fully documented production. ❙ www.beck-automation.com

Yudo automates moulding

Hall 2/C25 Korean hot runner and moulding technology company Yudo will be showing its full capabilities at the show. IMC is an integrated production control solution for monitoring

and controlling injection machines and automation in manufac- turing environments. The company will also show its ISO technology for production

of conformal cooling circuits in moulds, as well as a new electric valve pin operating system, Spicon hydraulic actuators and TinaAM pre-wired options for the automotive industry. ❙ www.yudo.com

IML ideas from Verstraete Hall 5/B27

Belgian IML label specialist Verstraete will show its latest label innovations on its stand in Hall 5 – including double- sided, oxygen and light barrier, peelable and metallic types -
