Across many apparel markets, baselayers are amongst the most lucrative areas. An expanding market, baselayers should certainly not be ignored.

n all European markets surveyed, the golfers most likely to own a baselayer and play golf in it are males, younger golfers and those with lower handicaps. In addition to this, SMS reports that keeping warm remains the primary reason for golfers
in all countries wearing a baselayer with over 90% of those wearing one to play golf in stating this as the main reason for purchasing one. The various performance-enhancing properties of baselayers perhaps have not yet been exploited properly.
