SGB caught up with Michael Morton, managing director of MD Golf to discuss the new Aston Martin S Range.


How did the collaboration come about and when did you launch the Aston Martin S range? We first started talking to Aston Martin in August 2011. They were interested in producing a range of premium golf products under the Aston Martin S banner and our credibility in the market coupled with the use of the latest materials and technology made us a good fit. Our business has grown considerably in Asia over the last four years and working with Aston Martin, the quintessentially cool British brand appealed as British brands are highly revered in Asia. We launched the Aston Martin S range to the global golf market at last year’s PGA show in Orlando and the reaction to the marque entering the golf arena was superb. Over the last 12 months we have developed a full range for 2014 which really positions us at the premium end of the market.
