s James Brown famously quipped- “It’s a man’s world” and one finds it hard to disagree when observing the
world of golf. Muirfield’s ‘no women’ policy certainly caused a stir at last year’s Open and considering even Augusta’s antiquated membership allows women members, it really is baffling in the extreme. Luckily the wider world of golf is a little more forward thinking in its approach and “golf would mean nothing without a woman or a girl”. With this in mind, this year’s apparel guide has a key emphasis on the women’s game and I’m delighted to welcome back Carly Frost to the SGB Golf fold. Her article on women’s spring/summer apparel for 2014 is a fascinating read and I look forward to drawing upon more of herextensive knowledge during the next few months. As well as an insight into women’s apparel, I’m also
pleased to welcome back SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. Throughout the guide they offer a host of various statistics, trends and titbits into the apparel side of the game. We have managed to squeeze as much product
