Srixon Sports launch new AD333 ball

T

he AD333 model has been the UK’s number one selling two-piece golf ball since 2007 and Srixon’s latest offering,

which is the 6th generation of this particular model, is aiming to extend their popularity. The new AD333 is a golf ball that offers feel

but has been designed for players who are looking for an all ability ball, offering greater distance and excellent spin on every shot. Now featuring Srixon’s proprietary coating,

Spin Skin Technology,as first produced on their premium Z-Star range, the AD333 offers greater control and spin on approach shots and a soſt feel. The Spin Skin coating im- proves friction between the golf ball and club surface for added feel and control from 30 yards in. The AD333 is now longer than ever thanks to the improved large Energetic Gradient

T

Growth core, giving the ball a firmer outer layer, which becomes progressively soſter to- wards the centre. This core structure creates explosive ball speed off the tee with reduced spin for maximum distance. Performance in the wind has been en-

hanced by a new speed dimple pattern. As with last season’s model, the AD333 will be available in both Pure White as well as Tour Yellow for improved visibility. The new AD333 has an RRP of £28.99 per

dozen and was available from leading golf re- tailers and professionals from October 1st 2013.

bacus Sportswear has revealed that in 2013 it has supplied

volunteers and staff at key European Tour and Challenge Tour events with over 8,000 garments. Since becoming an official

supplier to The European Tour in 2012, the Swedish company has dressed thousands of volunteers and staff at key European Tour and Challenge Tour tournaments, including Nordea Masters, Irish Open, Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, Norwegian Challenge, Scottish Hydro Challenge and The Challenge Tour Grand Final. “At the London Olympics,

much was said about the volunteers who helped ‘make the event,” commented Alexandra Yllo, Abacus

Sportswear event and partner manager. “At Abacus, we recognise the

invaluable efforts and commitment volunteers and tournament staff bring to each event and believe it is important to support golf’s games makers, as they are one of the factors that add to the success of any tournament.” Abacus Sportswear

supplies event volunteers and official tournament staff of The European Tour with a wide range of items, including the StretchLite jackets and Cocona polos which absorb UV, shielding skin from harmful sunrays. “Growing the game of golf

has always been very important to us,” added Abacus Sportswear owner, Sven-Olof Karlsson.

“Supporting its development at green-grass and volunteer level is fundamental, especially in an age when golf participation is falling in some countries. “We believe through our

agreements with The European Tour and, more recently, The Asian Tour – both at competitor and volunteer levels – our commitment to this fantastic sport and to the people involved with it is realised.”
