Major investment for conference venue
Work is soon to start on a new Kent Pavilion at the Kent Event Centre, to replace the existing structure. Hoping to complete by next April, the new space will be 44 metres side and 72 metres wide and able to accommodate up to 4,000 people theatre-style. the Centre has worked to maintain its status as a premier event space – in June 2011 the Clive Emson Conference Centre was opened offering 1,700sq m of space. Other conference facilities on- site include the 1,750sq m John Hendry Pavilion and the Astor Pavilion (151 sq m) plus ample free parking and six major meeting rooms. INFO
