reception areas

to give many times more information than peg boards and static displays. Information shown in portrait format has proved it is more quickly grasped than when shown on landscape tv screen. The Lobbysign is available as a stand-alone display system or can be wall-mounted where space saving is essential.

Choosing a reception sign In choosing which sign system is most suitable for your requirements, considerations are given to the main differences between LED (light emitting diode) and LCD (liquid crystal display) screens.

The LobbysignLED was Brackenbury's first generation of free standing signs and uses a dot matrix format to display high impact text. It is bright and eye-catching with retro-style lettering made up of light dots. Despite its strong effect, as soon as flat screen panels bacame available, the LED was overtaken by LCD. In spite of being everywhere in our lives, LCDs are different when it comes to the Lobbysign display board. For the Lobbysign has a portrait LCD screen built into its sleek neutral coloured housing. Whether the lobby area is high tech contemporary, oak panelled or with marble surround, the Lobbysign display fits into any design or style.

The Lobbysign LCD display, the digital alternative to plasma and tv signage, is a complete electronic solution for a welcome sign, notice board, and tv. Notices and messages on the Lobbysign LCD display are supported and enhanced by images and video clips, giving the Lobbysign excellent impact and flexibility.

Screen Impact The captivating “Portrait”

format of the screen inside the Lobbysign housing, by its nature, focuses peoples’ attention and makes reading and viewing images appealing. Bespoke and dynamic sequences of pages appear with text either on different coloured backgrounds or blended with any choice of images. Videos run in combination with text or images. Whether it be messages, announcements or events, the simplicity and impact of the Lobbysign LCD screen content draws the onlooker to its message.

LobbysignLCD with PC or media player The LobbysignLCD is controlled by either an inbuilt PC, external PC, or media player. The pc, when switched on, automatically defaults to Lobbysign software, which has been specially developed for Windows. Upon exiting Lobbysign software, it reverts to Windows desktop, offering an unlimited choice of other software, for instance Powerpoint,

which is a favourite amongst Lobbysign customers. The alternative to a PC is having a media player which enables pre-prepared images, text pages and videos to be displayed, simply by inserting a memory stick.

Speed and simplicity with inbuilt PC

The Lobbysign plugs straight into the mains, and within a moments it is ready to receive a message typed directly onto its screen with the wireless keyboard. Pages are made up with text, images, or videos, with the option of incorporating overlaid text onto images. Image and video loading is via the USB port at the back of the display, where, located too, is both a network port for remote

control and also a stereo jack for sound. The wireless network option, too, is a popular feature.

Lobbysign free standing displays requires no regular maintenance and are highly durable and reliable thanks to the use of the highest quality components. Technological piece of mind is ensured by Brackenbury's professional back-up team, with its quick response, expertise and unrivalled service.
