considered by non-US tourists, San Diego offers recreationalists a vacation experience like no other. So quickly dumping our bags at our

homestay up in the hills of La Mesa, we grabbed our kayaks and snorkels, and led by the delightful staff at OEX La Jolla, explored La Jolla’s Ecological Reserve and the Seven Sea Caves. and what locals continually boast about, is its year-round near-idyllic climate that makes outdoor activities so appealing and accessible. We took full advantage of the weather and joined San Diego Speed Boat Adventures on a narrated tour of the Big Bay area. Taking full control of our own mini speed boats we explored the area, circling the Star of India and historic ships of the Maritime Museum. A fantastic half a day activity, especially for those who don’t mind getting a little wet! Although we only stayed in San Diego for a

few days, this destination could easily cater for a holiday in itself. However, we had a schedule

biggest names in showbiz, LA is as diverse as it gets. From the ostentatiousness of Beverley Hills, to the oddities of Venice Beach, the city fails to be summed up in one sentence let alone one word. We were fortunate enough to

Hosted by Toes on the Nose at the Hyatt Hotel at Huntington Beach, we waxed our boards and attempted to tackle the waves. Admittedly most of the time was spent in the water and not on the board. We stayed for three nights in LA, squeezing

in as many activities as we could, including a Starline bus tour of the celebrity houses.
