INTERVIEW Viktor Axelsen - Badminton Player

“The homework isn’t that fun.”

Still only 19, and still a student, Viktor Axelsen is making the transition from junior to senior on the world stage of badminton. It’s been three years since the Dane won the Junior World Championships and he looks set to become one of the very best. Ahead of the London Grand Prix, Viktor spoke to us about his prospects for the tournament and his career ahead.

Yeah, that is true. He played badminton quite a lot, at least a few

times a week, so I would go down to watch him play. The truth is that I got 

 Of course. When you’re younger you get some different ideas and think about different things as possibilities, however I love what I’m doing now! I obviously can’t play for the rest of my life so it pays to consider what happens afterwards. Maybe having my own business of some kind would be cool someday?
