Tube Furnaces Accessories, Split Design, Rotation
In order to provide optimal conditions for the different test requirements, Carbolite provides a variety of tube furnace options and accessories for heating in air, modifi ed atmosphere and vacuum. These include for example insulation plugs, gas tight end seals, radiation shields and end seals for low and high vacuum applications.

VST 1200 °C Vertical Split Tube Furnaces
The free standing vertical design for wrap around heating applications
The VST furnace is ideal for wrap-around heating applications such as extension test rigs and vertical reaction tubes.
Features 1200 °C maximum operating temperature Heated lengths of 200, 300, 400, 600 and 900 mm
An accessory worktube with an outside diameter up to 110 mm is required
The hinged furnace body gives easy access for insertion of worktubes, reactor vessels or large samples.
As an additional option the VST furnaces are available with an even wider opening 'far-hinge' format Control module with 2 metre conduit to furnace body
1200°C SPTR Rotating Tilting Tube Furnaces
Furnaces for heating powders and granular materials in a continuous fl ow-through process
Laboratory scale simulation of industrial rotary calcining kilns, production scale processing for valuable products such as catalysts or bioceramics.
Features Up to 1600 °C maximum operating temperature Both split tube and enclosed tube formats are available
