The Carbolite product range comprises chamber furnaces and ovens from as small as one litre up to 10,000 litres and tube furnaces with heated lengths from as small as 130 mm up to several metres.

For 75 years Carbolite products have been the instrument of choice for research, testing and production processes worldwide. Carbolite offers an unmatched level of choice from standard product ranges and accessories or by customisation to meet specifi c requirements. All Carbolite furnaces are manufactured under an ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance scheme and are designed to comply with the EU Low Voltage and EMC directives and carry the CE mark.

The two most important factors for selection of the correct product are the task and the temperature range. For small sample size and good temperature uniformity, tube furnaces are the best choice. Tube furnaces also make it easier to collect volatiles or to work under controlled atmospheres. For larger sample volumes a chamber furnace may be more appropriate.

Chamber Furnaces for Ashing and High Temperature Use

Carbolite chamber furnaces are used for heat treatment of larger samples of materials so as to change their physical or chemical properties. Ashing furnaces have been designed to provide the optimum conditions to ash samples, without damaging effects upon the furnace. In addition to versatile general laboratory products Carbolite also manufacture a range of application specifi c furnaces for such uses as standard compliant testing of Coal & Coke, Precious Metals Assay, Asphalt Binder Analysis through loss on ignition, and many other applications.
