MICROSOFT: STEVE BALLMER has announced he will stand down as the firm’s boss within the next 12 months. He was Microsoft’s 30th employee

SYNOLOGY: The NAS manufacturer has strengthened its team with six fresh appointments.


KALPESH SAVDAS will be Synology’s sales manager after spending years as an account manager in the web hosting sector. GREG LANGFORD will become


product manager, while Microsoft certified professional BILLY KNOWLES has joined, as well as Mac expert TIMOTHY DRING and server specialist STEFAN FERRARI, who arrive as technical helpdesk consultants. In addition, KEITH KING has joined the RMA team.


MICRO-P: The distributor has appointed DANIEL LENAN as head of commercial. He will focus on continuing to grow and develop Micro-P’s vendor strategies and relationships across the company’s eight business units.
