10 MAY: CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND Two men were met by police when their Jetstar flight landed from Auckland. They had allegedly turned up the volume on their own portable CD player when the crew refused to play the in-flight music louder.


13 MAY SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA Park, 19, allegedly fondled the breasts of the 20-year-old woman seated next to him on a flight from New York to Seoul. He was arrested on arrival.


15 MAY: LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY Douglas Taylor was arrested before boarding a Delta Airlines flight due to his intoxicated behaviour.


19 MAY: EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND British Member of Parliament Eric Joyce was arrested in the domestic arrivals area of the airport for allegedly being "abusive and confrontational" when he realised that he had left his mobile phone on a plane but was not allowed to return to the aircraft to retrieve it.


27 MAY: PORTLAND, OREGON Alexander Herrera, 23, was arrested when his Alaska Airlines flight landed after he had tried to open the aircraft’s emergency exit in flight. Other passengers overpowered him and tied him up with shoelaces.


31 MAY: BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS Paulina


Franoszek, 32, allegedly became disruptive on board an American


Airlines flight from JFK Airport to Barcelona, prompting its diversion to Boston.

13 APRIL: JALALABAD, AFGHANISTAN Militants allegedly fired three missiles at Jalalabad Airport and damaged a civilian helicopter in the process.

A Buraq Air B-737 was shot at as it was preparing to land in Tripoli, damaging the underside of the aircraft.
