An Oasis of Well-Being Opens In Hamden
I
n today’s fast paced, technology driven society, more and more people are searching for effective stress manage- ment tools and desiring healthy lifestyle choices. Aiming to meet the needs of the whole family, The OneJoy Center for Wellness offers a supportive community for adults, parents and children to explore and deepen their connectedness to mind, body and heart. Its programs embrace the impor- tance of relationships and the value of creating a lifestyle in harmony with nature. One example of OneJoy’s healing offerings? Drawing on natural wildflower essences, Bach Flower Remedies are gentle, non-toxic and safe for adults, children, infants, animals and plants. These remedies are said to be effective in dealing with mental and emotional imbal- ances such as grief, despair, panic attacks, lack of confi- dence, anxiety, and others. Debi Testa, RPP, CYT, and Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner, is available in person or via the telephone to assess which Remedies will be most beneficial for each client. Additionally, while the children are involved in activity classes like yoga, Zumbatomic, art or Creative Mindfulness Summer Camp, more healing services are available for adults including polarity therapy, cranial temple activation, intuitive coaching, and angel card read- ings. Monthly intergenerational Drumming Circles are also held at the Center. Natural Awakenings Readers are invited to receive a $10 Off Coupon for any energy healing session or activity class series registered for in July.
