Healing for Healers O
ftentimes, practitioners of the healing arts are so fo- cused on caring for others they may neglect their own
self care. The “Gathering of Healers Reiki and Energy Heal- ing Share” provides teachers and students with a forum for insights and inspiration, growth and nurturing self and other. Held at Connecticut Yoga Center in Middletown, these monthly gatherings offer a place for healing practitioners to socialize and recharge, build and deepen community and share techniques and experiences. Time is set aside so every- one receives a treatment. The intention is to offer the gifts of healing energies with other practitioners in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. Gatherings are held from 2 to 4 p.m., with upcoming events currently scheduled for June 9, July 14, August 11, and September 22. A $5 donation is suggest- ed. All healing modalities are welcome as long as they can fit within the context of a Reiki treatment. Connecticut Yoga Center was founded in 2012. Directed
