ing topics, including molding, melting, engineering, safety, and casting design and purchasing were complemented with sessions in the Metalcasting Technology Theater located on the show floor. The Word Foundry Organization also held several sessions as part of its technical forum presented in conjunction with CastExpo’13 and the 117th


Metalcasting Congress.


At the close of the conference, AFS elected its 2013-2017 class


of directors and 2013-2014 officers, including new President Dennis Dotson, chairman of Dotson Iron Castings, Mankato, Minn., new Vice President Chris Norch, president, Denison Industries, Denison, Texas, and new 2nd
