Breeders Association (LOBBA)


has developed the LOBBA Bull Development Test program. Two tests per year will be conducted at the Tom Brothers Ranch in Camp- bellton. The 112-day bull tests will begin January 1 and June 1 of each year. The bulls will have a 3-week warmup period before the test and a 2-week cool-down period after the test before being sold or taken back to the owner’s ranch.

In the All Breed Com- mercial Female Sale, Bradley Hodde of Diamond H Cattle Co. of Brenham consigned the overall champion females. The pen of 5 Golden Certifi ed F-1 H


X B Females sold for $3,100 and was purchased by Tom Johnson of Wortham, Texas. This pen was also awarded champion F-1 Pairs and champion overall F-1s.


The champion Brah- man females were consigned by Martin/ Schwartz Partnership of Brenham for $3,600 to Diamond H Cattle Co., also of Brenham.


Champion open F-1 Females were awarded to John Malazzo Farms of Caldwell with a pen of ABBA certifi ed B X H females bringing $2,700. Jim Watts of Houston purchased these females.
