The Verotec case, the flagship offering from Verotec, has been redesigned to incorporate an improved structural design that gives increased strength and rigidity. Verotec is well suited for high end instrumentation applications, but it is equally suitable for applications such as telecommunications, industrial control equipment and desktop computing. If required, the enclosures can be both IP54 and EMC screened, either factory fitted under the TecServ+ added value programme or the required gaskets and panels can be retro-fitted by the customer. The standard case provides a commercial level of RFI attenuation that should prove suitable for most applications, but if a higher level of EMC performance is required, an EMC upgrade kit, consisting of tinned copper fingers and EMC front and rear panels, increases attenuation to 80dB at 100MHz and 50dB at 1GHz. The enclosures have no visible fixings and are now available in two basic versions, the
Verotec case, complete with 19” panel mountings, and the Verotec caseframe assem- bly, pre-fitted with KM6-II tiebars for directly mounting standard Eurocards. The Verotec case is available as standard in 1, 2, 3 and 6U heights, in 10.5” and 19” widths, with depths of 260, 300 and 400mm in all sizes. In addition, the 6U 19” case is also available in an extended 500mm depth. The caseframe version is available in 3U and 6U heights to suit standard Eurocard sizes, in 42HP and 84HP widths and depths of 260, 300 and 400mm. As standard, the case is finished in a fine texture epoxy powder coat in light grey RAL7035 or as a two-tone version with the body of the case in RAL7035 and con- trasting corner trims in anthracite, RAL7016. Designed for handheld electron- ics with large displays, TEKO has launched the new TEKNET-T enclosures which are suitable for such applications as in-field test and measurement instruments, medical devices and data loggers. The TEKNET-T enclosures are ergonomic and the cases feature a T-shaped head section which has been designed for mounting larger LCD modules, and a nar- rower keypad area which is com- fortable to hold.
The whole top section is recessed to allow easy mounting of a membrane keypad which may also include an integrated window for the display module. The TEKNET-T cases have external dimensions of 208 x 117 x 30mm and feature soft touch edge grips for secure and com- fortable holding during use. The edge grips also provide protec- tion for the case mouldings. A new range of wall mounting cabinets designed for cabling, telecommunica- tions, IT and industrial installations has been introduced by CamdenBoss. The new CamRack-QX series cabinets are supplied flat packed and can be assem- bled without tools in just three minutes. CamRack-QX cabinets are available in five models, each available with a selec- tion of five standard corner colours (red, blue, orange, white and black). A further five colours (yellow, green, purple, lilac and grey) are available on request. The five models are 6U measuring 421mm deep x 384mm high, 9U measuring 421 x 517mm, 12U measuring 521 x 651mm, 15U measuring 521 x 784mm and 18U measuring 621 x 917mm. All units are standard 19” width (580mm). Delivered with a carrying handle for easy access to any installation site, the CamRack-QX also reduces logistics

With two 19” mounting profiles of vari- able depth in 20mm increments and a template for wall mounting, the new CamRack-QX series cabinets feature a maximum recommended load capacity of 45kg and are epoxy paint finished in RAL 7016 grey.
Also coming soon is the CamRack- Soho which provides a wall mounted 19” cabinet for the smallest space in an office or home environment. This is the first product to be launched as
