Bob Bienenstein built a classic airframe (above left) that any modeler should recognize for Old Timer R/C. His Playboy Sr. earned a first place within the category. The Bunch Scorpion (above right) is certainly a classic and David Frantz placed second with his. One of the most unique models in the vintage
category (below left) was Larry Latowski’s Nemeth Hi-Tri Wing. The award for best film finish was given to model designer Keith Shaw and his Acro-Jet(below right). It’s a design Keith hopes will do well as the first electric ducted fan used in the Pattern class.
Brian Perkins won first in Designer Scale with his large 35% Bristol ScoutD-35 (above left). The WWI era aircraft was a show stopper with all of its details.
Allen Mrock enjoys modeling the more obscure aircraft and his latest design (above right) is no exception. The unique Dornier Walplaced second overall.
