TAUCK’S NEW INSPIRATION CLASS RIVERBOATS – ms Inspire and ms Savor – maintain the high standards of comfort and luxury set by our Jewel Class riverboats and carry on our tradition of providing the most space per guest on Europe’s rivers.
Upon launching in 2014, ms Inspire will operate exclusively on the Rhine, while ms Savor cruises along the Danube. With a maximum of 130 guests, these longer ships (443 ft. or 135 meters) will transport the fewest passengers of any riverboat of comparable size in Europe. Of a total of 67 cabins, we offer 22 suites (300 sq. ft.), the most of any river cruise ship on any European river; guest amenities in these lush suites include brocade upholstery, roomy walk-in closets with built-in drawers, spacious marble baths, and two French balconies with floor-to-ceiling windows that open to idyllic riverscapes. In addition, each riverboat also sports 32 cabins measuring 225 sq. ft., similarly furnished; to increase the amount of natural sunlight on the lower deck, we’ve innovatively designed 8 of these as loft cabins that extend from the first to the second decks, providing additional views; all windows in these loft cabins open. Standard cabins (150 sq. ft.) are cozy, comfortable and similar in décor and style to our suites; all cabins and suites have in-room movies, minibar, adjustable heating and cooling, private bathroom with shower and exclusive Molton Brown toiletries, sumptuous bedding with 400-thread-count linens, 100% goose down pillows, pillow-top mattresses and more. Our public spaces boast panoramic windows, including a casual dining area aft with a 180º-opening glass wall, cocktail lounge and dining room. Each Inspiration Class ship also has a Sun Deck with 24-hour Jacuzzi and putting green, a fitness center, a spa and a hair salon.
