In 2014 our popular Music Festivals at Sea programme celebrates its thirty year anniversary. It all began in October 1984 when the fi rst cruise was presented – at that time the focus was on classical music. After a few years the programme evolved to include opera, operetta, quizzes, recitals, ensembles and the lighter side of the guest artistes’ repertoire - and so the programme became known as Music Festivals at Sea.


In recent years we’ve presented concerts ashore and introduced passenger choruses led by some of today’s leading choral directors, with performances of many Gilbert & Sullivan productions and well known oratorios.


As well as famous hosts from the world of broadcasting, we’re also joined by international opera singers and instrumentalists, famous tenors, sopranos and violinists, string quartets and ensembles who combine their magnifi cent talent to deliver you an extraordinary world of music.

Marco Pierre White With restaurants on board six of our seven ships, the larger than life


restaurateur Marco Pierre White will be back on board in 2014. As well as cooking demonstrations, he will also be offering the chance to join him for masterclasses and hosted dinners in his restaurants. You can take home a signed copy of his book and listen to the man himself in the Q&A interview hosted by our Cruise Director.

Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar proudly boasts three restaurants on board Arcadia, Azura and Ventura. Sindhu on Azura and East on Ventura will play host to Atul when he joins us on board to deliver cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, book signings, Q&A sessions and hosted dinners in his restaurants.
