Welcome from Carol Marlow Managing Director, P&O Cruises

With every new season of cruises we create new adventures. This year we’re excited to announce Ventura’s fly-cruising programme to the Mediterranean.

One of our most popular ships, family-friendly Ventura will offer year-round fly- cruising. She’ll spend the summer visiting some of the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations, sailing from and to Italy’s Venice and Savona. With fewer days at sea and a more relaxed atmosphere on board, these Fly-Med holidays are sure to appeal to families, friends and couples in search of an itinerary that offers plenty of opportunities to explore ashore and of course, they’ll fly direct to the sunshine (see page 30 for more details).

Ventura and Azura follow the sun to the Caribbean in the winter months, offering two week fly-cruises from Barbados. Our winter fly-cruise programme also extends farther across the globe with far-flung cities such as Sydney, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Mumbai, Dubai and San Francisco featuring on cruises with Adonia, Aurora and Arcadia. Durations for our Exotic fly-cruises start from just 12 nights so such exotic destinations are within easy reach.

We’ve once again retained our extensive choice of Southampton departures (with the addition of 17 new destinations) so inside you’ll find familiar itineraries to Norway and Iceland, the Baltic, Iberia, Canary Islands, Mediterranean and Caribbean, plus our three world cruises. There’s also more Cruise Breaks than ever before; 35 in total.

Adonia continues her discoveries with some unique experiences planned for 2014 including sailing up the River Garonne into the heart of Bordeaux and up the river Guadalquivir into Seville. Her Baltic itineraries feature sailings through the Kiel Canal, with one call into Kiel coinciding with the Kiel Week festival.

On board, our events are as intriguing as ever with another year of themed cruises planned. We’ll be celebrating the 30th anniversary of our Music Festivals at Sea, welcoming back the team from Strictly Come Dancing and our celebrity chefs will be making a number of appearances on board too (see page 8 for more details). We’re also able to offer our popular ‘Freedom Dining’ choice across more of our ships in 2014 (see page16), and are looking forward to showing off Ventura and Arcadia, both having had major refreshes in 2013.

We hope you’ll be inspired by what you find within the pages of this brochure so, to find out more, just follow the links to our website for detailed information about our itineraries, destinations, prices and ships.

Kind regards
