Fly-cruising
When you’re planning your well deserved holiday, there’s no reason why you can’t cast your sights far from home, in fact a fly-cruise is the perfect option if you want to explore further afield.
Fly-cruise holidays to the Caribbean
In winter, the shores of the Caribbean prove too tempting, which is why Ventura and Azura are based out of Barbados for a few months of the year. Economy flights to and from Barbados are included in your fare and normally depart the UK in the morning arriving the same afternoon. Inbound flights are normally overnight. You can also opt to sail between the Caribbean and Southampton (or vice versa) flying one-way, or between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean (or vice versa) flying roundtrip – these are our Caribbean Transatlantic cruises.
Caribbean flights
For our Caribbean flights we use aircraft from reputable charter and scheduled carriers, such as Thomas Cook Airlines, Thomson Airways and British Airways. Departures are available from London Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham at no extra charge, or you can fly from Glasgow on selected Ventura cruises for a supplement of £80 per person. Flight details can be found within each itinerary.
For scheduled flights you will need to clear immigration and collect your own baggage upon arrival in Barbados. P&O Cruises representatives will meet you outside arrivals to guide you to your transfer.
Flight upgrades to the Caribbean
On our dedicated charter flights you can upgrade to a larger, more comfortable Premium seat for £299 per person return. For Caribbean transatlantic crossings, upgrades are available for £149 per person one-way. These upgrades can be purchased at the time you book your cruise, but are subject to availability and must be bought on a return basis (with the exception of transatlantic crossings).
Upgraded scheduled flights are available on request within 11 months of departure. Please speak to your travel agent or call us on 0845 356 0005 (option 4). Scheduled flight upgrades are subject to availability and are available from/to London only.
