award (reta) for its use of data warehousing technology to analyse and target customer groups. By integrating near-real time user data from various sales channels into a Teradata data warehouse, the fashion retailer and owner of brands such as Very.co.uk, littlewoods.com and isme. com, won in the reta Best Enterprise Solution category for the rapid insight the project has delivered into its customers and their preferences. 

for the project, which was originally expected to occur in 11 months, was achieved ahead of plan. The system also helped to increase incremental sales per customer email sent by 28%, while also reducing business costs by hundreds of thousands, by identifying highly online-focused customers and removing their catalogue support.
