Grede Castings Feature Among NACTOY Award Winners Grede Holdings LLC, Southfield,
Mich., produces cast components featured in the Cadillac ATS and Ram 1500, both 2013 winners of the North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) Awards. The award winners were announc- ed January 14 at the North Ameri- can International Auto Show in Detroit. Grede produces a drive gear housing and cover for the Cadil- lac ATS. For the Ram 1500, Grede provides the differential case, differ- ential carrier, brake caliper housing, yoke, exhaust manifold, input clutch hub and various chassis components. “We are pleased to be part of the success of these two outstanding American-made vehicles,” said Doug Grimm, chairman, president and CEO, Grede Holdings LLC. “From concept to finished assembly, we worked closely with both carmak- ers and their Tier One suppliers to develop these castings with the
US Holdings Launches Eagle Manufacturing
US Holdings Inc., Miami, has an- nounced a new name for its holding company, Eagle Manufacturing Group. Te name change is intended to clarify the parent company’s relationship to its operating companies, US Foundry and Manufacturing Corp., USF Fabrica- tion, United Concrete Products and Eagle Metal Processing & Recycling. Te group’s primary focus is on
the municipal construction market. US Foundry produces municipal castings such as manhole covers from an ISO 9001:2008-certified facility in Medley, Fla. In addition to the brand identity
