Pestana pampers planners THE REVIEW ›› THE MEETING PLACE
LONDON'S Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel & Spa is offering meetings and event organisers a complimentary spa treatment when they book their next event at the hotel. The offer is valid on bookings made up until April 30 this year for events in any of the hotel's six meeting rooms. In addition, event delegates will receive exclusive rates for treatments during their stay. Residential meeting packages booked on selected dates in March and April will qualify for further discounts and commission. The hotel opened in 2010 and
offers meeting rooms on two levels suitable for 10 to 500 delegates. The four venues on the first floor all have floor-to-ceiling windows and overlook Battersea Park. They can be used independently or extended into one large room. The lower level ballroom floor comprises two
SARACENS' SOLUTION
venues to allow for pre-event networking, cocktails and/or registration. Videoconferencing facilities are also available. The booking incentive is designed to highlight the hotel’s designer spa which includes a relaxation area, indoor pool, sauna and steam room, use of which is included within room rates. The events team specialises in
innovative conference packages made to meet specific demands and can include creative menus, themed decoration and outdoor activities in the neighbouring Battersea Park. It also offers 'Meeting Memories'
experiences such as group river cruises on the Thames, outdoor team-building activities and themed Medieval dinners.
ALIIANZ Park, the new North London home of Saracens rugby club, is now open for meetings and events. The stadium's facilities include an indoor arena with capacity for up to 1,200 delegates, three banquet rooms for 650 people and 14 smaller meeting rooms for groups of between two and 60 people. Previously known as the Copthall Stadium, the venue has undergone a £24million rejuvenation and hosted its first game as the new home of Saracens in February. It claims to be the most energy efficient stadium in the UK, adopting best practice with regard to energy use, transport links and water waste disposal.
It's how all delegates should feel.
