Tyrolit Re-Launch At Executive Hire Show Abrasives manufacturer TYROLIT used the Executive Hire Show 2013 as a platform to re-launch their product offering for the Hire Industry. Part of a global re-focussing on the Hire market, TYROLIT’s new product range and catalogue is designed to offer the industry a full machinery range including drill rigs, drill motors, wall saws, floor saws, bench saws and consumables.

on display at the Hire Show was the HRH500 ‘Dragon’ Ring Saw available exclusively through TYROLIT. The saw is the only one on the market capable of cutting up to 400mm in a single pass and works three times faster than chain sawing. Available in hydraulic and petrol powered versions, the saw is just one of TYROLIT’s new


innovations aimed at the Hire market all offered at very competitive prices. All TYROLIT machines on display at the Hire Show are available for

The Executive Hire Show TowerLight welcomed visitors to their stand at the Executive Hire Show to view a range of new products and in particular their innovative new product, the Smart Dustfighter. The Smart Dustfighter is designed to provide outside workers with safe


protection from airborne contaminates and is ideally suited for contractors working with dust producing equipment, such as disc cutters, wall chasers etc. It produces a fine mist of water through a series of high-pressure jets; the mist is then propelled onto the site by a powerful fan, rendering the area free from unhealthy and hazardous material. Similar in size to a mini cement mixer, the Smart Dustfighter operates from


ordinary mains power or from a 110v supply and delivers a maximum coverage of up to 13-metres through six nylon fan blades fitted to an aluminium hub, connected to twelve stainless steel water nozzles. It weighs just 77kg and has wheels for easy transportation. Water consumption varies from 3.6 to 5.8 litres per minute at 2.5 Bar through a quick-release ?” standard water hose connection. “We introduced the Smart Dustfighter following requests from here and


abroad from site managers that needed to reduce dust in a concentrated area,” explained TowerLight director, Paul Hay. “We expect that the Smart Dustfighter will soon become an essential item for contractors who need to cut slabs, block paving, bricks and similar material and consequently an ideal item for a rental firm’s hire fleet.” “We had enthusiastic interest in


the Smart Dustfighter from hire companies looking to expand their range with new equipment,” added Paul.


The Smart Dustfighter is part of a


range of dust suppression equipment manufactured by DF Ecology a division of TowerLight. The company currently produces and markets an extensive range of water-based dust suppression products under the Dustfighter brand. DF Ecology products are distributed by Milton Keynes based, TowerLight (UK) Ltd.

Executive Hire Show T-T exhibited for the third year running at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry on the 6th and 7th February. The show was a huge success for T-T with the launch of their new 1500 model versions of the already greatly received Liberator and Trencher range of contactors pumps.T-T’s pumps are specifically designed for the hire, rental and construction markets, featuring wear-resistant impellers, interchangeable spares and ease of maintenance. The 1500 models being completely unique to the industry, having all the features you would expect from a contractors pump, but being capable of up to 21m head and flows of up to 650l/min. The pumps are available in 110V, 230V and 400V; T- T believes to be the only manufacturer of 110V contractors pumps capable of this performance. The stand was exceptionally busy on both days with the team being delighted to see their regular customers coming to find them and, potential new customers showing a great interest in the wide product range and services T-T can offer! Whilst exhibiting T-T ran a competition for two visitors to each win a Trencher pump. The lucky winners were Chippindale Plant Hire and Interserve Site Services who T-T have since visited to present them personally with their sparkly new pumps. The Executive Hire Show 2013 The Executive Hire Show 2013 was a great success for Lyte Ladders & Towers, taking a record number of orders and doubling our previous years stand footfall. Products on display included an example of our system scaffold which


consisted of a pedestrian walkthrough, a cantilever frame as well as our Advanced Guardrail system. We also had our anti surf podium on the stand with concept drawings of our up and coming PAS 250 podium, to be launched in the Spring. Our range of step, extension and multipurpose ladders were also a big hit


taking orders and enquiries for all as well as some bespoke orders. At the show we met a wide range of new and existing customers, many of


whom entered our competition to win an industrial LIFT System (Lyte Industrial Folding Tower) base pack! Winner to be announced soon. Our new Training Manager was also on hand to promote our outstanding


dedication to Health & Safety; Lyte also offers nationally accredited training on the use and maintenance of both ladders and towers, such as the prestigious PASMA course. Our new Training Manager will be on hand to discuss all your training needs. It is important to not


only use high-quality equipment while working at height, but to know how to use the equipment correctly – and prove that knowledge to your customers.
