nyone who enjoys art, whether learning about it or just looking, will love the Harris


Gallery in Elkhart, Kan.


Owned by Wint and Marla Harris, the gallery offers art for sale as well as a variety of studio lessons.


In the showroom, shoppers will find many glass blown pieces - from ornaments to paper weights to vases - as well as ceramics and pottery and some crocheted items.


The Harris Gallery carries many one-of- a-kind pieces and offers custom orders for those who want something in specific colors or shapes.


For those interested in learning about art, the studio has ceramics classes open to the public on Saturdays. Other one-on-one private lessons are available by appointment. Ceramics, pottery and glass blowing are just a few of the classes Wint and Marla have taught in the past. Woodworking and crocheting classes may be in the future. Tour groups can be arranged by appointment.

its afterschool program. Fifth and sixth grade students come in after school twice per week. Art credit classes are offered for Point Rock Academy students.


“The fun thing with students is teaching them what you know then watching them take that and go beyond it,” Marla Harris said.


Harris Gallery is a Tri-County Electric Co-op Connections business. Any


member who shows their Co-op Connections card before checking out will receive 15 percent off pottery or glass sales over $30. Members are also eligible for 10 percent off lessons.
