was initially trialled at LU’s Cockfosters depot. Having proved itself to be very effective in that demanding environment, the matting is now being rolled out to another large depot at Northfields. Dynatrack has characteristics similar to Vynagrip safety matting, also manufactured by Plastic Extruders. It features a wider grid to allow dirt and detritus to fall through the gaps thereby removing slip and trip hazards. As well as that, a high visible edging serves as a clear warn to workers as they approach the maintenance pit.
In addition to acting as a slip resistant surface and visual safety marker, Dynatrack also has anti- fatigue properties which is helpful to engineers who have to stand for long periods on an otherwise bare concrete floor. The matting is very hard wearing, resistant to oil, acid and chemicals and can be easily rolled up to facilitate cleaning beneath.
Black Dynatrack is
manufactured using up to 100 per cent post-industrial recycled material and is fully recyclable, making it a sustainable and environmentally-sensitive choice.
