So much gear, so little space on our SD card. PSNEurope managed to snap a few photos at NAMM for the magazine and there’s more on our Facebook page, too (you’ve ‘Liked’ us, right?).

Earthworks introduced its first 500 series module, the 521 ZDT preamp with Zero Distortion Technology (ZDT). The solid- state ZDT 521 features switchable phantom power, polarity invert and peak amplitude clip detection.

Steinberg’s latest iOS app, Cubase iC Pro, made its debut at NAMM. The app allows remote control of Cubase, featuring three pages for transport, mix and shortcut control.

Mackie launched the 8-channel DL806 mixer. It joins the DL1608 16-channel mixer and the DLM loudspeakers to form the company’s portable DL/DLM live sound solution based around an iPad. Mackie also screened its latest online marketing campaign, a much anticipated (and hilariously gory) ‘Zombie Apocalypse’- style viral.

by Radial Engineering. The line-up includes the SB-1 Acoustic, currently shipping, and the SB-2 Passive, SB-4 Piezo and SB-5 laptop shipping this month.

Sonnet introduced an updated version of its Echo Express Pro Thunderbolt expansion chassis for PCIe cards, which features an auxiliary power connector that provides up to 75W of power.

Holophone had its new line of single-channel microphones on display: the Super C supercardioid, C+ cardioid, and Big O omni microphones. Stealing the spotlight was the visually stunning Classic model, unveiled at NAMM. The Canadian company’s 4pm ‘free beer’ sessions proved very popular with booth visitors (and interlopers too).

IsoAcoustics, whose Acoustic Isolation stands were found at many booths throughout the show, debuted its ISO- L8R430 for large speakers, subwoofers and instrument amps, and the ISO-L8R130 for smaller speakers.

The NAMM Show was the US debut for Focusrite’s Red 1 500 series mic pre. The company was also able to confirm that after two years its RedNet interfaces, including the new RedNet 6, are now shipping. Focusrite’s

A new premium drum set from AKG, centred around the company’s D12 VR kick mic, made its debut at the show. In addition to the D12 VR, the set includes two C214s, one C451B, and four D40s enclosed in their own aluminium carrying case. The company’s revamped DMM6 and DMM12 digital automatic microphone mixers were also on show.

Line 6 (above) expanded its StageSource family of loudspeakers with the L2m and L2t loudspeakers. Each features six speaker modes, feedback suppression and digital networking via the onboard L6 LINK. L2m was created in response to feedback from the L3m and L3t speakers, launched at NAMM 2012, which, PSNEurope has learned, users have found to be just a little too big to be practical.

Cerwin-Vega! launched its P- Series professional PA system, which includes two active speaker products: the P1500X, two-way, biamped, full-range bass-reflex speaker and the P1800SX powered subwoofer.

Finally, Slate Pro Audio had the new Raven MTX multi- touch mixing surface on display, which gives DAW users complete hands-on control of their software, and 100% digitally-controlled analogue circuits. The more compact Raven MTi was also available for some ‘hands-on’ time.

Next year, PSNEurope will bring two SD cards: one for the gear, and one for tattoos and hair…
