All of us at Tauck lost a close friend this past year with the sudden passing of filmmaker David Hogoboom, who artfully filmed dozens of our tours and cruises around the world. He lives on through his wonderful family and incredible works of art.


TAUCK’S WORLD OF GIVING VISITS MANASSAS Our Annual Employee Volunteer Day visited the national battlefield at Manassas. Tauck employees and family members worked closely with the National Park Service to repair fences, among other chores. Tauck’s World of Giving, the charitable arm of Tauck, Inc., sponsored the event.


David’s wife, Mitzi Hogoboom, is Tauck’s Inside Sales Manager.


TRAVELING TAUCK Peter Tauck drew crowds as he crisscrossed North America in 2012, hosting travel agent and consumer events with Tauck Business Development Managers from Naples, Florida, to Toronto, and from Seattle to Long Island.


SHELTER FROM THE STORM


Over 90% of Tauck employees lost power during the devastating Superstorm Sandy when it hit Connecticut on October 29, 2012. Because of backup systems, Tauck never lost power and served meals throughout the aftermath. Above, Brand Manager Chris Greco and his family enjoy a meal in the company’s kitchen.
