“Protecting Against the Elements”
Congratulations to last month’s winner Tara Fritzler
November’s photo featured the Historical Carnegie Library in Guth- rie, Okla., a 110-year-old building that cost $35,000 to build. The His- toric Carnegie Library has been pre- served as a part of the Guthrie Muse- um Complex. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, many important events surround- ing Oklahoma’s move from territory to statehood took place on the front steps of this building. Complete with a 50-foot-tall dome and many of the original furnishings, it has been com- pletely preserved. The Historic Carn- egie Library can be viewed along with the Oklahoma Territorial Museum from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday – Sat- urday.

OKLAHOMA PORK PRODUCERS. DOING WHAT’S RIGHT.
Pork producers are on a mission. We have a legacy of responsible practices but we’re committed to ongoing improvement, always striving to do better. In fact, America’s pork producers are leaders in quality assurance and continuous improvement. Today there is no higher quality or safer pork. That’s quite an accomplishment. And it’s only getting better. Because when it comes to responsible pork production, nobody cares more about the environment, animal care, food safety, and the community than we do.
