small Christmas cookie cutters to cut shapes from the melon. Leave the skin on the kiwis for stability and slice them into 3/8-inch-thick rounds. Use a star cookie cutter to cut a star from the pineapple for the top of the tree. Cut remain- ing pineapple into small chunks. Use toothpicks to secure fruits to the cone, placing larger fruits toward the bottom of the tree and smaller ones toward the top. Use small fruits, like grapes, to fi ll in empty spaces. Fill any remaining gaps with parsley. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate. For the best results, give the Christmas tree the same day you make it.
